Venturevillage and EVAK Ry. has been working together over a decade to bring the best educational practices in the world from Finland to India, Kerala.
The unique cooperation is based on the idea to equip students with entrepreneurial skills, leadership experience and environmental knowledge.
The program helped to ease unemployment in Kerala by encouraging entrepreneurship and job creation. Venturevillage acknowledged the support and expertise from Matti Pettay: "VentureVillage decided to officially bring Mr. Matti Pettay on board. Mr. Pettay, who has decades of experience in helping cities redesign their waste management infrastructure, agreed to support VentureVillage in creating a curriculum to teach these concepts."
